  3. Harmony Tenor Guitar

    April 24, 2016

    DSCF3003Harmony Tenor Guitar

    factory no. 25851118S5 C summer ‘39
Why didn’t other makers follow Harmony’s lead. Harmony’s are easy to date as there is stamp inside the guitar that says “S39” or “F38” (meaning fall of 1938, simple really…) This tenor is solid mahogany around and is fully refurbished and re fretted. A bright, chimey sound that belies it’s simple looks Oh yeah! … it has a pick up too

    $495

    Sold

    DSCF2935Hofner Congress

    Ser no. 14241 c. 1964
Not much to say but WOW! Isn’t she in amazing condition? We’ve restored her with love, the only repair needed was a dowel and glue a split neck heel, (you Hofner freaks know about this issue I’m sure). Andre has done a lovely job as he always does. Gorgeous tone and playability

    $795.00

    Sold.

  5. Gibson solid mahogany restoration

    March 2, 2016

    DSCF3011

    1966 Gibson LGO

    Ser no. 858558

Is this a war baby or what?! Solid Mahogany construction makes for a really punchy tone and volume, whilst the ultra slim neck has a more electric feeling, ideal for smaller hands. We have replaced the plastic bridge (not one of Gibson’s niftier ideas) with a solid rosewood replica. The guitar has also been fret dressed by our workshop. Plays beautifully

    $1395.00

    (with after market case)

  6. Gibson J-45

    DSCF2615

    1969/1970 Gibson J45

    ser. 928491 C. 1969/70 (pre volute)

Isn’t she boooodiful?  This guitar has all the hallmarks of a really well made Gibson, plenty of volume, smooth top end and a guttural low end when you dig in….

The neck is a slim taper and the action and playability are wonderful, comes with the original factory case

    $3900.00
