  1. Valquero Parlour c. Mid 1920’s

    October 16, 2015

DSCF1037This little girl was restored by Matty Bryant (Matty’s Guitar Service) 5 years ago. Matty worked with us for 7 years and in that time he restored no less than 20 parlour guitars before starting his own shop. It’s a great restoration. This old timer features solid Birch and Maple construction and the soundboard is modified to an X-brace system, neck re-set and re-fret…. Amazing tone and playability

    $895.00

  5. No Name 5 String Banjo c. Early 20’s

    August 30, 2015

DSCF0924.jpgI was showing a client how readily available antique banjo’s were in the USA…. Too bad for said client… I saw this and hit the “buy it now” box and here she is.

she required a re-fret, neck re-set and set up. She could be a Slingerland or a Gretsch, as suggested by the quality of the build.

    $795.00

Both instruments are of solid mahogany construction. These the first tenor/baritone’s ukulele’s we’ve seen from this maker. So, something unique and pretty for little money
